Edward Clough has been promoted to the newly created role of Head of Real Assets for Octopus Capital. Effective immediately, Edward will continue to have responsibility for the real estate business but now takes on the leadership of the infrastructure business as well.
Infrastructure sits alongside real estate and private debt as the three main areas Octopus Capital believes can have the greatest impact for institutional investors. The infrastructure business is focused on delivering important social, renewable and digital infrastructure, helping accelerate the journey to net zero and investing in the systems that will power a more sustainable, connected future.
Michael Toft in London and Cristina Perez Liz in Madrid, will together take on an additional leadership role as Co-Heads of Real Estate Investment whilst continuing to manage their respective business areas, Michael as Head of Care Homes, and Cristina as Head of Spain.
“These promotions demonstrate what an exciting time it is at Octopus Capital. I look forward to working ever closer with Ed, Mike and Cristina in their new capacities as we continue to grow our business both here in the UK and in Europe.”
Lieven Debruyne, CEO at Octopus Capital
