A full-fibre broadband provider, Giganet’s mission is to challenge the status quo and connect people to a future-proofed network. To achieve this, they are building a new, modern, nationwide fibre optic network that will provide people with the fastest, most reliable broadband speeds.

However, investment is crucial for fibre infrastructure businesses to grow and scale.

Funds managed by Octopus have been deployed into a group of fibre companies, such as Giganet, to upgrade the UK’s digital infrastructure.

Allison Homes South West and Octopus Capital have exchanged on a 150-home affordable housing development in Landkey, North Devon. The 100% affordable scheme will provide homes for social rent, affordable rent and shared ownership, helping meet local housing demand while creating a sustainable new community supported by Homes England funding.
