The Octopus Capital Quality Assurance team recently brought together our portfolio of care home operators for a focused day of leadership development — equipping them with tools to better support care teams and residents.

Expert-led sessions explored the power of communication in care settings, offering practical techniques for handling difficult conversations with staff, families, and residents.

We shared strategies for navigating comprehensive CQC inspections smoothly and confidently and spotlighted the importance of self-care. We tackled techniques to handle imposter syndrome to help foster a healthy, resilient workplace culture.

By combining insight, experience, and practical tools, the day offered valuable strategies to strengthen leadership, improve team dynamics, and enhance the quality of care our homes provide.
